We end the series with a slightly different episode. It is longer than usual and features Michael Schmelkus, the podcast guest – who is the only non-police officer in the series – telling a story of the history of the police in Lower Saxony, from the beginning of modern Germany, starting at the end of the Second World War. This is a heavily edited version of a much longer discussion.
